Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices that connect internal and external systems.
- Provide technical leadership in the absence of the Tech Lead.
- Contribute to team strategy with strong opinions and experience.
- Master authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth and Auth0.
- Design and optimize SQL databases, with a preference for PostgreSQL.
- Write production-ready, thought-through code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend/API Developer using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in SQL and database design, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with ORMs.
- Strong skills in automated testing (jest/mocha, coverage).
- Mastery of Docker, Git, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to show work through a portfolio, side project, or demo repo.
