About the Role

The Project Manager will manage the delivery of projects within a specific market remit, acting as the main point of contact for market coordination between the Global team and key regions and markets. This role is responsible for managing brochures, websites, and the digital configurator, and resolving issues at a regional level. The position requires someone capable of resolving issues autonomously, managing expectations, delivering projects against tight timelines, and communicating effectively across all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead designated markets and serve as the main point of contact for issue resolution, escalating when required.
  • Manage clients to successfully deliver print collateral and launch websites according to agreed timings for designated markets.
  • Build strong and robust relationships with JLR Global and local clients.
  • Understand that the delivery of translated Global assets into local markets is the core objective.
  • Communicate effectively any changes, updates, and incoming work to clients regularly.
  • Become a market specialist, understanding assigned markets in depth and taking ownership for identified projects.
  • Ensure all timings in the critical path are adhered to without fail.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external Agency partners to resolve issues.
  • Work with the Senior Project Manager to establish and manage project plans through to delivery.
  • Develop contingency plans with the Senior Project Manager when deadlines cannot be met.
  • Update status reports daily and complete timesheets.
  • Understand and adhere to Ways of Working (WoWs) and processes.
  • Write clear and concise briefing documents in a timely manner for all stages of project delivery.
  • Understand the overall critical path for market projects and client-agreed SLAs for delivery.
  • Take responsibility for all QC and ensuring the correct approval signatures have been given both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing marketing projects, such as print collateral (brochures), web platforms, and digital interactive tools.
  • Previous experience working as a project manager within large marketing projects.
  • Proven ability to manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Track record of deploying centralized global assets into regional/local markets, maintaining brand consistency rather than creating ad-hoc local assets.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with global teams, regional clients, and external agency partners, acting as a trusted main point of contact.
  • Outstanding time-management skills with a proven history of strictly adhering to critical paths, SLAs, and tight project deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Track record of writing clear, concise briefing documents that drive quick, actionable outcomes.
  • Attention to detail with strict adherence to approval processes, quality control standards, daily status reporting, and established Ways of Working.
  • Ability to rapidly gain deep domain knowledge of assigned geographic markets to serve as an authoritative 'market specialist'.
