About the Role
As a Payment Operations Manager, you will ensure all payments to and from our partners are processed smoothly, correctly, and efficiently. You will be deeply involved in daily operations while also supporting the development and automation of payment processes, working closely with Partner Management, Customer Success, Treasury, Accounting, and Product teams.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve down payment/final invoices from our partners; clarify and process discrepancies.
- Prepare payments to our partners.
- Create financial onboarding materials for our partners.
- Support our partners with all questions regarding invoicing and payment processing.
- Maintain and control master data relevant to payments and accounting.
- Create end-customer invoices.
- Conduct dunning processes.
- Support the further development and automation of payment processes in collaboration with Product.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a comparable commercial apprenticeship.
- Initial experience in Payment Operations or Accounting Operations (Accounts Payable/Receivable).
- Experience in FinTech, CleanTech, or a comparable environment is a plus.
- Good MS Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2) language skills.
- Very good understanding of numbers.
- Independent and meticulous work style.
- High reliability and integrity.
