About the Role

The KOBV (Cooperative Library Network Berlin-Brandenburg) is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the EFRE-funded project »FACTS – Fraud Analysis and Counter Testing in Scholarly Publishing«. This role involves supporting the project management with organizational and administrative tasks, quality assurance of project documentation, and public relations activities.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for project management and the project team.
  • Quality assurance of project documentation in close coordination with the management of the KOBV network center and ZIB administration.
  • Preparation and follow-up, as well as organizational support for meetings, events, workshops, and business trips.
  • Participation in procurement and ordering processes.
  • Active participation in the public presentation of the FACTS project and support for public relations (websites, social media).

Requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training in an administratively oriented field.
  • Experience with the administration of third-party funded projects, ideally EU projects.
  • Confident use of information and communication technologies.
  • Structured, independent, and meticulous way of working.
  • High sense of responsibility, discretion, and reliability.
  • Experience in a scientific or cultural environment (e.g., libraries) is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • Very good language skills in German, good language skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
