About the Role

The Enterprise Account Executive will identify, build, and maintain sustainable partnerships, driving revenue and pipeline within a sales team. This role involves connecting with C-level decision makers, hunting for new business, owning the sales process, and developing a territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative strategies and plans for each target to win new customers and grow territory value.
  • Engage at multiple levels within customer accounts (e.g., CIO, CISO, CFO, CEO) to maximize engagement and long-term success.
  • Build a network of executive relationships across industry, community, business groups, and with key partners and customers to identify sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and implement measures to ensure an adequate pipeline of opportunities via demand generation for consistent growth within target accounts.
  • Stay current on new campaigns, understand their objectives and relevance, and communicate this to the sales team, ensuring clear roles for successful campaign execution.
  • Manage existing customers for upsell and cross-sell expansion.
  • Build pipeline and manage forecasts, including outbound lead generation.
  • Up to 50% travel requirement (domestic).

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of selling high-value complex enterprise software solutions into verticals such as Insurance, Retail Banking, and Finance.
  • Met/exceeded direct sales goals of $1.5M+.
  • Operated with an average deal size of $250k+.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDPICC approach.
  • Excellent track record of success in an individual contributor role with a strong net new business component.
  • Demonstrable success in growing footprints in existing customers.

Skills

  • Ability to develop a strategic territory plan and create a relevant execution plan.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate comfort with senior-level meetings and presentations in a virtual selling role.
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow deals through consultative selling and a value-based approach.
