About the Role

This position is responsible for planning and promoting IT strategies in collaboration with senior members, organizing issues, and developing optimal solutions through dialogue with relevant departments. The role is expected to lead IT strategy planning in the future.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, manage, and monitor IT strategies (mid-to-long-term plans) for FWD Group, considering future direction and market trends.
• Formulate, manage, and monitor roadmaps (system development plans) based on mid-to-long-term plans.
• Plan systems in accordance with business plans.
• Market IT trends, particularly in the insurance industry.
• Formulate and manage IT-related project portfolios.
• Collaborate with business departments and IT-related departments (including Group Office) to select appropriate solutions.
• Formulate implementation plans and propose them to management.
• Plan and promote measures to strengthen the IT department.
• Identify issues in each IT-related department and plan strengthening measures.
• Manage and promote these strengthening measures.
• Collect basic data required for reporting and establish collection processes.
• Analyze IT-related projects and measures based on predicted and actual results.
• Special duties assigned by the CTO.

Requirements

• Proactive and smooth communication skills.
• High willingness to learn.
• Over 7 years of practical experience in the IT domain (planning/development, etc.) within the financial industry.
• Presentation skills using PowerPoint.
• Data aggregation and analysis skills using Excel functions/Pivot.
• Business-level English (specialized).
• Experience in AI utilization and implementation.
• Over 3 years of experience in the life insurance industry.
• Over 3 years of experience in a foreign-affiliated company.
• Over 5 years of experience in solution selection and implementation.
• Over 3 years of system development management experience as a PM (including Agile development experience).
• Consultation skills such as logical/critical thinking.
• Presentation to C-Suite and report creation/reporting experience.
