About the Role
United Health Services (UHS) is seeking an excellent physician for a clinic on the campus of a critical-access hospital, located on the western edge of the Catskills in Walton, New York. This traditional inpatient/outpatient practice is situated in a friendly town where patients are neighbors, fostering a strong sense of community. The practice includes family medicine physicians, advance practice providers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, with multiple outpatient specialties available on-site. The practice is adjacent to a 25-bed medical and short-term rehab unit with a 24/7 Emergency Department. Ancillary services include lab, cardiopulmonary, imaging, on-site outpatient pharmacy, and various rehabilitation services. Call is one week approximately every two months for the primary care practice only.
Responsibilities
- Provide traditional inpatient/outpatient primary care.
- Participate in a call schedule of one week approximately every two months for the primary care practice.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with residents, fellows, and medical students.
Requirements
- Must be board eligible or certified.
- Must have completed an ACGME accredited residency program.
- Accepting J1 and H1B candidates.
