About the Role

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a Neuro Critical Care opportunity. This role involves providing direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients, collaborating with physicians in the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients.
  • Collaborate with and work under the direction of physicians in the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program.
  • Follow established standards and practices.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification or physician assistant program.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or PA program.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • CPR and ACLS certified and must maintain certification during employment.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 3 months of employment commencement.
  • Preferable: Previous critical care experience (e.g., ICU or Emergency Department).
