About the Role
Asset Based Financing (ABF) Europe is a primary origination business providing asset financing and Asset Backed Securities (ABS) capital markets solutions. The Mortgage Finance business focuses on financing portfolios backed by real estate assets, including revolving warehouses for new mortgages and financing for non-performing loans (NPL) and real estate owned (REO) assets.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute strategy for the business
- Aid, and lead aspects of the origination, execution and ongoing risk management of transactions
- Interface and collaborate with other areas within the Bank, including Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Operations to obtain deal related approvals and ensure the effective operation of the business
Requirements
- Educated to degree level and/or relevant sector/industry experience
- Ability to quickly spot key risk/deal issues and think creatively around how to mitigate these issues
- An ability to think creatively and apply the same to financial models
- Strong technical and analytical ability
- Understanding of, and the ability to understand changes to, macro market and industry trends
Skills
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
