About the Role
The Administrative Coordinator functions as an assistant to the Residential Services Director, maintaining confidentiality and providing administrative and secretarial support. This role involves assisting with event planning and maintaining positive communication with various stakeholders, contributing to welcoming and supportive residential environments.
Responsibilities
- Prepares correspondence and handles all correspondence in a confidential manner.
- Prepares and submits requisitions as needed by the Residential Services Director and department.
- Performs necessary word-processing, filing, and typing as assigned by the Residential Services Director.
- Creates and maintains necessary database information.
- Creates documents, copies, and files for the Residential Services Director, including site rosters, schedules, administrator on-call, manual updates, annual leases, placement paperwork, and forms.
- Assists to plan fun events.
- Responsible for regularly updating the Operational Manuals, PNP, and How-To Manual, and distributing changes to appropriate staff.
Requirements
- A.S. degree with a major in business/secretarial science and over three (3) years of secretarial experience, or equivalent combination of the above.
- Experience with Residential Services preferable.
- Excellent computer and communication skills.
