About the Role

We are seeking IT system administrators to join our IT team at our headquarters in Berlin-Karlshorst to expand our digital infrastructure and prepare it for the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure: Plan, install, and configure hardware, including servers, storage solutions (NAS), and client hardware.
• Network design: Build and maintain LAN, WLAN, and VLAN networks, and securely handle routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Virtualization & Cloud: Manage virtual environments (e.g., Hyper-V) and support cloud service migration and integration.
• Security & Monitoring: Implement security concepts, monitor systems for anomalies, and ensure security with professional backup strategies.
• Automation: Create scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to improve the efficiency of routine tasks.
• Project management & consulting: Independently manage IT projects from cost-benefit analysis to successful implementation.

Requirements

• Completed training as a system integration IT specialist or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
• Routine in 1st to 3rd level support and a solution-oriented service mentality.
• Confident handling of network services, VPN connections, firewall rules, and VoIP telephony.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, macOS, and iOS.
• Independent work style, team spirit, and experience in IT hardware procurement (requesting quotes & coordination).
• Ability to document and communicate complex technical issues understandably.
