About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Account Director to manage a well-known UK brand. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover, starting mid-September. The role requires significant TVC experience and production oversight for integrated campaigns with large production budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead strategic advisor to clients, addressing their business issues.
  • Manage account teams to develop proactive strategic proposals that drive client value.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key senior-level budget holders to drive business growth.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders at partner agencies.
  • Achieve client revenue targets, including forecasting and rapid response to business changes impacting revenue.
  • Lead client negotiations with procurement and marketing contacts to agree on agency fees and retainers.
  • Lead and motivate account teams to deliver high-quality account management, ensuring projects are on time and on budget.
  • Ensure compliance with VCCP company reporting, legal procedures, and contractual agreements.
  • Oversee account billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Proactively develop and implement new methods to improve work quality within the agency.
  • Lead the agency's strategic and creative response to briefs, evaluating quality, budget, and objectives.
  • Develop inspiring briefs to facilitate top-tier strategic and creative work.
  • Oversee the formal evaluation of completed campaigns and share learnings across the agency.
  • Lead the review of creative work objectively and constructively, collaborating with senior creative teams.
  • Ensure ideas are media-agnostic and simple enough to work across all consumer touchpoints, challenging siloed thinking.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable record of delivering best-in-class work.
  • Ability to confidently discuss strategy and offer creative perspectives.
  • Experience overseeing end-to-end campaign execution with significant production budgets.
  • Comfort with campaign processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in client negotiations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate account teams.
  • Understanding of billing processes and invoicing.
  • Experience in developing and evaluating creative work.
  • Broad range of skills to ensure integrated campaign delivery.
