About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Berlin team, focusing on large public sector projects. You will provide strategic consulting for public construction projects, contribute to concept development and project setup from the initial phase, and oversee project management for complex construction projects, ensuring high quality and service standards. Your responsibilities include coordinating internal and external project stakeholders, monitoring project goals (time, cost, processes), and managing staff selection, leadership, and development. Additionally, you will cultivate existing relationships, explore new business opportunities, expand our network, and tap into new market segments.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic consulting for public construction projects.
Contribute to concept development and project setup from the initial phase.
Oversee project management for complex construction projects, ensuring high quality and service standards.
Coordinate and manage all services of internal and external project stakeholders.
Monitor the achievement of project goals, including time and cost frameworks, and defined processes and systems.
Manage staff selection, leadership, and development.
Actively maintain existing contacts and business opportunities.
Expand our network and develop new market segments.

Requirements

Completed real estate or technical degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, architecture, or similar.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project management of complex, large-scale construction projects.
Ideally, experience in managing PPP/PFI and IPA projects.
Experience in managing or (partially) leading challenging large-scale projects and programs.
Comprehensive knowledge of modern team leadership.
Excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
Goal-oriented and empathetic.
Very good German language skills (written and spoken).
Good English language skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Experience with spreadsheet programs.
Proficient with project management platforms.
