About the Role
As a People Central Advisor, you will be a trusted first point of contact for employees and leaders, providing timely, accurate and practical advice across a broad range of HR matters aligned to nbn’s policies, systems and processes. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-volume and complex environment, where you are required to think on your feet, apply sound judgement, and deliver clear, structured and well-reasoned guidance. This is a hands-on role that balances advisory with HRIS (Workday) processing. You will confidently navigate and action system transactions in real time, while managing a steady flow of employee and leader enquiries. You will also support escalations and partner with broader People & Culture specialist teams to work through more complex matters. You will bring a strong continuous improvement mindset, actively identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and enhance the employee experience. With a natural curiosity for systems, you will champion digital capability, including AI and automation, to drive efficiency, accuracy and smarter ways of working.
