About the Role
We are currently seeking a Master Technician to join the team at Gates of Woodford. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, handling tasks from road tests to complex repairs and customer updates.
Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between customers and the workshop.
- Carry out road tests and review job cards for necessary information.
- Request additional information when required.
- Inform customers on repair progress.
- Complete or advise on more involved and complicated repairs.
- Liaise with prior approval/Ford technical when assistance is required or pre-diagnosis is completed.
- Ensure a minimum of 50% productivity.
- Take responsibility for completing jobs within agreed time frames.
- Maintain a high level of department productivity.
- Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables, and record usage.
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- A successful track record within a similar role, ideally within a franchised dealership environment.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
