About the Role

Support the Project Management team in the Central Europe cluster (Germany, Poland) with contract management aspects as a working student.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Management team with project contractual activities from initial hand-over to final project acceptance and resolution of outstanding contractual obligations.
  • Analyze contractual clauses systematically and structurally.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in contractual conditions.
  • Participate in project reviews and contribute to their preparation.
  • Drive project start-ups through comprehensive contract analysis and development of a robust Contract Execution strategy.
  • Serve as an advisor to project managers, including claim and counterclaim activity.
  • Provide guidance on contractual aspects of sourcing, procurement, engineering, site management, construction, commissioning, and testing.
  • Collaborate with service teams to manage defect notifications and resolution procedures during the warranty period.
  • Promote contract management perspective within the team.

Requirements

  • Studies in Contract Law, Contract Management, Project Management, or a comparable field.
  • Independent, reliable, and structured working style with a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and excellent teamwork abilities, including in virtual teams.
  • Willingness to learn.
