About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Investment Banking business as an Analyst in Investment Banking Coverage for Central and Eastern Europe. You will assist with execution, marketing, and coverage work for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and equity capital markets advisory across the CEE region. The position requires strong functional skills in investment banking and the potential to develop into a senior officer capable of generating and executing transactions. Responsibilities

Support on execution, marketing, and coverage work across industries and products.
Conduct research and analysis of market data and companies.
Support preparation of client presentations.
Perform valuation analyses (e.g., based on multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.).
Build detailed and complex financial models.
Execute transactions from pitch to close (e.g., public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors, equity capital markets advisory on various types of capital raising transactions such as listings and rights issues across the CEE region, etc.).
Lead execution functions and work with junior analysts, including supervising their work on certain tasks.

Requirements

Relevant Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience with good knowledge of the transaction cycle of relevant investment banking products.
Outstanding analytical, financial analysis, and modeling skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
Comfort and commitment to a strong teamwork environment.
Ability to work self-directed and independently, and to multitask on numerous assignments.
Proficiency in MS office applications.
Profound knowledge of customary investment banking databases (FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements for fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and potential approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
