About the Role
As a Senior Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the finance organization, responsible for forecasts, budget planning, and cash-flow analyses. You will enhance reporting, support strategic decisions with sound analyses, and combine finance expertise with a strong understanding of processes, numbers, and corporate governance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner for Accounting and other internal stakeholders.
- Create and monitor cash-flow plans.
- Analyze plan-actual deviations and derive recommendations for action.
- Further develop reporting, calculations, and financial KPIs.
- Optimize controlling processes and support the expansion of our BI landscape.
- Ensure data quality and further develop relevant finance systems and interfaces.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting, or a comparable commercial apprenticeship.
- Several years of professional experience in Financial Controlling.
- Sound knowledge of accounting, especially according to HGB.
- Very good Excel skills and experience with ERP and BI systems.
- Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey financial matters understandably.
- German at C1/C2 level and English at B2 level minimum.
