About the Role

The Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion FMS Solutions is the organization's expert advisor on Save the Children's Oracle Fusion Financial Management System, ensuring smart, well-informed solution choices across a complex, global finance transformation. This high-visibility role combines deep Fusion FMS product expertise with hands-on finance experience to advise on solution design, support the future roadmap of enhancements, and ensure the solution meets the needs of its users.

Responsibilities

  • Validate configuration, integration, and business process designs with the implementing partner, progressively taking on expertise for in-house capability.
  • Support the Project Lead and Product Owner in developing the future roadmap of Fusion FMS enhancements, including interfaces to other key systems.
  • Advise on solution design, configuration, and integration of Oracle Fusion FMS with adjacent systems.
  • Review and advise on architecture, configuration, and integrations to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Support the establishment and longer-term roadmap for shared support services and a Centre of Excellence.
  • Define project success metrics and ensure consistent realization of benefits.
  • Plan for accelerated adoption and successful, sustainable change across the movement.
  • Provide strategic guidance on architecture, governance, support, and administration.
  • Advise on a fit-for-purpose solution, working alongside the implementing partner and internal IT teams.
  • Support Members in adopting the global solution, guiding them through local feasibility assessments, solution design, and implementation.

Requirements

  • Expert, hands-on knowledge of the Oracle Fusion FMS product, including configuration and emerging Fusion capabilities, gained from implementing Oracle within a finance function.
  • A finance background combined with significant experience implementing Oracle Fusion as part of finance or ERP transformation within complex, global organizations.
  • Strong experience advising on solution design, integrations, and enhancement roadmaps, including interfaces between a core finance platform and other key enterprise systems.
  • Proven ability to define and drive realization of benefits and success metrics, ensuring scalability, performance, and reduced complexity.
  • Experience working alongside third-party software vendors and implementing partners, validating designs, assuring quality, and taking on knowledge transfer.
  • Experience within global, matrix organizations, with a proven ability to work effectively with people from different cultures.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiation, and coaching.
  • Ability to support senior stakeholders through change across a global organization.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral English).
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization.
  • Commitment to Save the Children values.
  • Experience leading or supporting transformation across multiple business units or countries.
  • Experience enabling local teams through feasibility, design, and implementation.
  • Non-profit sector knowledge/experience (especially international development).
  • Second language – French, Spanish or Arabic.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrable Oracle Fusion expertise, evidenced by relevant Oracle Cloud certification(s) and/or substantial hands-on Fusion FMS implementation experience, ideally alongside a finance qualification or equivalent finance experience
  • Preferable: Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification(s)
  • Preferable: Enterprise/solution architecture qualification (e.g. TOGAF)
