About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Support M&A projects related to the energy, heating, and transportation transition for German and international investors.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and company analyses, preparing relevant information for project teams.
  • Participate in company valuations and financial model creation, supporting the analysis of economic key figures.
  • Research and identify potential acquisition targets and relevant market participants.
  • Assist in creating pitch documents, information memorandums, and client presentations.
  • Prepare data, analyze information, and support due diligence processes for ongoing transactions.
  • Work on strategic issues within the dynamic energy sector, developing sound decision-making bases.
  • Communicate internally and externally, collaborating closely with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an advanced Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Ideally possess initial practical experience through internships or working student roles in M&A, Corporate Finance, Consulting, Auditing, or the Energy sector.
  • Interest in economic contexts and the energy, heating, and transportation transition.
  • Analytical and structured working style with a passion for solving complex problems.
  • High initiative, team spirit, and sense of responsibility.
  • Very good command of German (written and spoken).
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).

  • Advanced Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
