About the Role

Responsibilities

Support our team in M&A projects related to the energy, heating, and transport transition for German and international investors.
Conduct market, competition, and company analyses and prepare relevant information for our project teams.
Participate in the creation of company valuations and financial models and support the analysis of economic key figures.
Research and identify potential acquisition targets and relevant market participants.
Support the creation of pitch documents, information memorandums, and customer presentations.
Prepare data, analyze information, and accompany due diligence processes within ongoing transactions.
Work on strategic issues in the dynamic energy industry environment and develop well-founded decision-making bases.
Communicate (internally and externally) and work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and customers.

Requirements

You are in an advanced Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field.
Ideally, you have already gained initial practical experience through internships or working student positions in M&A, Corporate Finance, Consulting, Auditing, or the Energy industry.
You are interested in economic contexts as well as the topics of energy, heating, and transport transition.
Your analytical and structured way of working, as well as your enjoyment of solving complex issues, characterize you.
Your high level of initiative, team spirit, and sense of responsibility make you a valuable support for our team.
You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
You have good English language skills, both written and spoken.
