About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Support our team in M&A projects related to the energy, heating, and transport transition for German and international investors.
  • Conduct market, competition, and company analyses and prepare relevant information for our project teams.
  • Participate in the creation of company valuations and financial models and support the analysis of economic key figures.
  • Research and identify potential acquisition targets and relevant market participants.
  • Support the creation of pitch documents, information memorandums, and customer presentations.
  • Prepare data, analyze information, and accompany due diligence processes within ongoing transactions.
  • Work on strategic issues in the dynamic energy industry environment and develop well-founded decision-making bases.
  • Communicate (internally and externally) and work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and customers.

Requirements

  • You are in an advanced Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field.
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial practical experience through internships or working student positions in M&A, Corporate Finance, Consulting, Auditing, or the Energy industry.
  • You are interested in economic contexts as well as the topics of energy, heating, and transport transition.
  • Your analytical and structured way of working, as well as your enjoyment of solving complex issues, characterize you.
  • Your high level of initiative, team spirit, and sense of responsibility make you a valuable support for our team.
  • You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • You have good English language skills, both written and spoken.

  • advanced Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field
