About the Role

Altagram is seeking freelance translators and proofreaders for Japanese to Thai localization of video games. Projects include in-game text, marketing content, subtitling, linguistic quality evaluation, and culturalization analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate and proofread game content, including dialogue, quests, item descriptions, UI, menus, marketing copy, and subtitles.
• Perform linguistic quality evaluation (LQA).
• Conduct culturalization analysis.
• Undertake machine translation post-editing (MTPE) on selected projects.

Requirements

• Native-level Thai and excellent command of Japanese.
• Demonstrated experience localizing video games.
• Proficient in memoQ.
• Familiar with Plunet TMS.
• Willingness to complete unpaid test pieces for translation and proofreading.
