About the Role

As a (Senior) Consultant GenAI in the Shopfloor, you will empower clients to strategically implement Generative and Agentic AI in production. This involves identifying use cases, managing technical implementation, and ensuring the productive operation of value-generating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and realize concrete AI use cases in the shopfloor, creating real added value through improved decisions, higher efficiency, and reduced downtime.
• Design innovative AI solutions for the factory of the future, integrating GenAI technologies like Agents, MCP, and Skills with production processes and data.
• Take ownership of structuring and implementing GenAI transformations, from Manufacturing Analytics to AI-assisted systems and scalable GenAI platforms.
• Act as a liaison between business and IT, translating production requirements into scalable AI solutions and explaining complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Drive personal initiatives, develop innovative shopfloor solutions, create demos, workshops, and prototypes, and actively present them to clients.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the conception, development, and implementation of (Gen)AI solutions, preferably in a consulting environment, with a focus on user-centric and innovative applications.
• Proficient programming skills in Python (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, Docking, Pandas, NumPy) and SQL.
• Practical experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and AIOps/MLOps for operationalizing GenAI applications.
• Experience with modern web frameworks like React, Angular, Next.js, or Svelte is a plus.
• Completed studies in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Business Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Very good German and English language skills (at least C1).
