About the Role

This apprenticeship program equips individuals with the knowledge and training needed to play a valuable role on a team and establish a long-term career at Citi. You will support the day-to-day operations of the global Markets business within the Markets Chief Operating Office (COO), contributing to Business Execution, Risk, Control & Transformation, and Innovation & Investments. You will gain exposure to diverse business aspects, partner with trading desks, deliver key controls, support business development, and work on strategic insights and AI-enabled initiatives.

Responsibilities

Analyze business data to identify trends, insights, and areas for further investigation.
Support the execution of key controls that help ensure the smooth operation of sales and trading activities.
Contribute to projects that support business growth and long-term strategy.
Help accelerate the adoption of AI solutions that drive productivity, efficiency, and revenue growth.
Work closely with colleagues across teams to solve challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual tasks, and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

5 GCSEs including Maths with a minimum grade B (or equivalent) and English Language with a minimum grade C (or equivalent).
A level grades BBB (or UCAS equivalent).
May meet course entry requirements with combinations of different qualifications to the same standard (provided subject requirements are met).
Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
Have been continuously living in the UK or EEA for at least the last 3 years.
Have the right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the programme.
Successful applicants will be enrolled on to the Level 3 AI & Data Technician Apprenticeship with Decoded.
