About the Role
Wolters Kluwer Health is a global leader in clinical decision support and healthcare technology solutions, helping healthcare professionals make informed decisions at the point of care. We are seeking a high-performing Clinical Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic healthcare accounts across Queensland and other assigned territories, driving renewal and new business revenue.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed annual sales and renewal targets.
- Manage the full customer lifecycle, including renewals, upsell opportunities, and new business acquisition.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned healthcare organizations.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting updates.
- Generate new business opportunities across public and private healthcare sectors.
- Drive solution-based sales conversations focused on clinical, operational, and strategic outcomes.
- Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and procurement processes.
- Build strong relationships with clinical leaders, executive management, procurement teams, digital health leaders, and key influencers.
- Partner with customers to maximise utilisation and adoption of UpToDate, Lexidrug, and Expert AI.
- Ensure customers achieve measurable value from Wolters Kluwer solutions.
- Support implementation, training, and customer engagement initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
- Identify and address risks that may impact renewals or customer satisfaction.
- Develop strong relationships with state government health agencies, public hospitals, health networks, and healthcare organisations.
- Understand government procurement frameworks and tender processes.
- Monitor market developments, healthcare policy changes, and funding initiatives that create growth opportunities.
- Represent Wolters Kluwer at industry events and customer meetings.
- Work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Clinical Consulting, and Leadership teams.
- Share market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and business strategy.
- Collaborate across the APAC business to support regional growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales or account management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts.
- Strong experience working with government, healthcare, or public sector organizations.
- Key relationships across the c-suite in Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
- Experience selling SaaS, healthcare technology, software, clinical decision support, or digital health solutions.
- Experience selling to hospitals, health systems, universities, and government healthcare agencies.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare decision-making processes.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
