About the Role

This role supports the School’s mission to advance education, research, and practice that improve health outcomes and prepare practitioners to lead and innovate across healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess high-quality education in interprofessional and advancing practice at postgraduate level.
• Curriculum development, student supervision, and academic leadership.
• Integrate research and professional practice into teaching.
• Contribute to quality assurance and accreditation processes.
• Foster innovation in education.
• Engagement with professional networks.
• Support for student wellbeing.
• Contribution to departmental administration and enterprise activities.

Requirements

• Hold relevant professional registration (HCPC, NMC, or GMC).
• Hold a postgraduate qualification in a healthcare-related field.
• Have teaching experience in higher education.
• Demonstrate expertise in advancing and/or interprofessional practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and professional development.
• A teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one is essential.
• A PhD and evidence of scholarly or research activity are desirable.
