About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to provide dedicated support to a Strategic Director on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This fast-paced and varied role is ideal for someone highly organised, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to changing priorities, demonstrating sound judgement and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Inbox management ensuring emails are responded to daily as appropriate
- Managing demanding diaries
- Management of emails, letters and phone calls - responding to or delegating as necessary on the Strategic Director’s behalf
- Secretariat of Team and Board meetings
- Organising internal/external events and meetings as requested
- Liaising with colleagues across directorates to ensure delivery of Management Boards key projects
Requirements
- Numeracy and literacy qualification e.g. GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Satisfactory employment references and CIFAS identity checks
- Satisfactory declaration of interest
- Ability to speak fluent English with confidence and accuracy, sufficient for the effective performance of the role.
