About the Role
Lead a passionate team in Sephora's brand new Blacktown store, driving sales, operational excellence, and a positive culture to empower clients and achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive a selling culture within the team to meet KPIs and promote Sephora’s values.
- Consistently raise performance and capability of the team to support developing internal talent.
- Utilize and exploit data to support operational decisions in partnership with district and store directors.
- Implement a continuous improvement mentality within the team.
- Energize the team to deliver first-class customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Create amazing customer experiences by leading the team to provide meaningful in-store experiences that build brand loyalty.
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including driving operational initiatives, brand events, training, and supporting visual merchandising.
- Develop sales and budget strategies, managing store profit and loss, monitoring stock levels, and analyzing sales data.
- Enhance company culture by maintaining a strong and positive environment where everyone is valued and enabled to succeed.
- Monitor KPIs to measure performance, improve, and achieve business vision.
- Attract, recruit, and develop store talent.
Requirements
- Previous retail management experience at a big box retailer or multi-site experience.
- Passion for excellent client service and experiential retail.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills.
- Hands-on leadership style with a focus on motivating, coaching, and developing team members.
- Ability to attract, identify, and inspire talented employees.
- Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and ability to influence team members at all levels.
- Flexible work schedule with availability for weekends, before/after store hours, and evenings.
- Ability to provide 5 full days of availability across key trading times, including late-night, weekend, and public holiday trading.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
