About the Role

As a Specialist for Occupational Safety, you will advise and support our clients independently in all matters of occupational and health protection. You will identify potential hazards, develop suitable prevention measures, and support our clients in their sustainable implementation. With your expertise, you will make a direct contribution to safe and healthy working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Independent consulting and support of our clients according to § 6 Occupational Safety Act.
• Conducting regular site inspections and identifying safety-relevant hazards and areas for action.
• Participation in occupational safety committee meetings and technical support of the involved contact persons.
• Support for managers and employees in all questions concerning occupational and health protection.
• Creation and updating of risk assessments for various activities, workplaces, and operational areas.
• Development of suitable strategies and measures for risk avoidance and minimization.
• Derivation of concrete recommendations for action for the sustainable improvement of occupational safety.
• Maintenance and further development of hazardous substance registers and support in the safe handling of hazardous substances.
• Preparation of comprehensible documentation, protocols, and regular status reports.
• Monitoring the implementation of agreed measures and follow-up of open occupational safety issues.
• Collaboration with company doctors, managers, employees, and other internal and external contact persons.
• Contribution of own ideas for the continuous further development of our safety engineering support and consulting quality.

Requirements

• Completed qualification as a Specialist for Occupational Safety (SiFa / FaSi) or Safety Specialist is mandatory, alternatively an ongoing qualification as SiFa / FaSi.
• Initial practical experience in the safety engineering consulting and support of companies.
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working, as well as a committed and customer-oriented demeanor.
• High willingness to travel within the supported region and a valid driver's license class B.
• Experience in supporting clients from various industries and company sizes is advantageous.
• Knowledge in the creation of risk assessments, hazardous substance registers (hazardous substance inventory), and other occupational safety documentation would be helpful.
• Experience in moderating or technically supporting occupational safety committee meetings would be advantageous.
• Additional qualifications in occupational safety, health protection, fire protection, or environmental protection, as well as the willingness for regular professional further training, would be helpful.
