About the Role
This role is for an organized and proactive individual who will support the sustainability team by coordinating systems, reporting, governance activities, and daily administration. The position involves working across a broad stakeholder group, balancing priorities, and ensuring timely completion of important activities. Success depends on identifying needs, understanding priorities, and driving tasks to completion, thereby creating capacity for specialists and leaders by ensuring smooth processes and timely information availability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities, deliverables, and reporting requirements across the sustainability function.
- Support the administration of sustainability systems, databases, reporting platforms, and document control processes.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, reporting schedules, and action tracking.
- Manage team calendars, priorities, and key business deadlines.
- Support the collection, consolidation, and reporting of sustainability performance information.
- Assist with the coordination of assurance activities, improvement initiatives, and change management projects.
- Support the maintenance of sustainability standards, documentation, and associated systems.
- Monitor actions, follow up on outstanding items, and help ensure business commitments are delivered.
- Support budgeting, purchasing, accruals, and other administrative activities across the function.
- Contribute to internal communications, SharePoint content, and team information platforms.
Requirements
- Experience in a coordination, administration, project support, or business support role.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-up and execution.
- Experience coordinating information, documentation, reporting activities, or business processes.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
- Experience within mining, resources, or another complex operational environment will be highly regarded.
