About the Role
This is a key account sales position responsible for designing and executing sales strategies for our consumer products with headquarters and product departments of major electronics retailers, including buyers, product managers, and corporate sales departments. You will be responsible for the overall design of our business within the retailer, negotiating with the retailer headquarters on equal footing, and not just simply following up with stores.
Responsibilities
- Lead account sales to major electronics retailer headquarters and product departments, formulating semi-annual account plans and driving proposals and negotiations to achieve KPIs.
- Plan, agree on, and execute measures to improve in-store share and attach rates through regular meetings (bi-weekly to monthly) with headquarters buyers and product departments.
- Accurately grasp shipment, actual sales, and inventory data (supply and demand forecasts) to ensure precise forecasting and inventory control.
- Manage the entire transaction flow with headquarters, including sales promotion expenses, rebates, and agreement processing.
- Design winning sales floor strategies and sales conditions, considering competitive measures (competing for in-store share with other companies' products).
- Develop new sales channels and addon sales by exploring new sales channels beyond existing retailer routes, such as the retailer's corporate sales department, affiliated companies, and partner distributors, to generate additional sales.
- Plan and execute new sales initiatives in collaboration with the retailer's corporate sales department and affiliated sales companies.
- Build an expanded sales structure through training sessions and sales promotion support for partners and distributors.
- Connect unique initiatives, such as events in collaboration with police and local governments nationwide (e.g., for fraud prevention), to retailer customer attraction and sales promotion.
Requirements
- Over 2 years of experience in headquarters sales at an electronics retailer.
- Experience in designing and managing KPIs such as sales, share, and attach rates, and conducting negotiations based on data.
- Experience in building relationships and proposing/negotiating with customer decision-makers and key personnel (buyers, product managers, heads of corporate sales departments, etc.).
