About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Wellbeing team, supporting individuals and families experiencing financial hardship through the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS). Working from our Mount Druitt site, you'll play a key role in helping people access safe, affordable loans while building financial confidence and connecting them with broader support services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS), providing end-to-end support to clients seeking safe and affordable loans.
• Guide clients through the NILS application process.
• Conduct eligibility assessments.
• Liaise with Good Shepherd Microfinance.
• Maintain accurate CRM records.
• Promote the NILS program.
• Attend community forums.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Deliver financial capability education.

Requirements

• Experience in community services, financial wellbeing or microfinance.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Compassion for people experiencing financial hardship.
• Collaborative approach aligned with Anglicare's values.
