About the Role

Lead complex infrastructure projects that connect communities, working with industry experts in a collaborative and future-focused team. As a Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering critical broadcast, telecommunications and infrastructure projects across Australia. Working closely with internal teams, clients, contractors and suppliers, you'll take ownership of the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated project professional who enjoys balancing technical, commercial and stakeholder management responsibilities while contributing to projects that support essential communications services relied upon by communities nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring objectives are achieved safely, on time and within budget.
  • Define project scope, schedules, budgets and resource requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project designs support operational and customer outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
  • Manage project governance, reporting, forecasting and change control processes.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities and provide regular project updates to customers and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate site activities including surveys, commissioning, testing and project handovers.
  • Ensure compliance with BAI project methodologies, quality standards, environmental requirements and WHS obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project outcomes, efficiencies and business value.
  • Support the successful delivery of power infrastructure, sustainability and BESS-related programs where applicable.
  • Conduct project close-out activities, lessons learned reviews and completion reporting.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end projects, including planning, delivery, governance and financial management.
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks, methodologies and controls.
  • Knowledge of the bid-to-build project lifecycle and associated delivery practices.
  • Exposure to broadcast, telecommunications, communications infrastructure or related technical environments.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants and third-party delivery partners.
  • Sound understanding of risk management, safety requirements and compliance obligations within project environments.
  • Capability using project management, scheduling and reporting tools to track performance and drive delivery outcomes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders to resolve issues, manage change and achieve project milestones.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to undertake site visits as required.
