About the Role

Exa is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own messaging, assets, and serve as the bridge between sales and product. This role involves crafting the narrative sellers use, building proof points, developing competitive answers, and creating an onboarding ramp for new sales representatives. The position requires a deep understanding of technical concepts and a focus on AI-first workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own core sales assets including pitch decks, demo storylines, one-pagers, and technical proof points.
  • Develop objection handling and competitive positioning, including battlecards and competitive teardowns.
  • Own the onboarding and ramp curriculum for new Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Engineers (SEs).
  • Manage the field enablement for every product launch.
  • Oversee enablement operations and content governance, ensuring content freshness and accessibility.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered workflows for enablement material automation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in product marketing, sales enablement, or a hybrid role at a B2B technology company selling to technical buyers.
  • Demonstrated ability to create adopted sales assets like pitches, decks, or battlecards.
  • Credibility with a developer audience, with a strong understanding of APIs, retrieval, and agent architectures.
  • Experience building competitive positioning using win/loss data.
  • Proven track record of running sales team onboarding or certification that reduced ramp time.
  • Excellent writing and live presentation skills.
  • Proven AI builder mindset with experience shipping automations using LLMs and workflow tools.
