Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of meals
- Providing friendly and compassionate service to residents, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met.
Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Food Handlers Certificate (essential)
- NDIS worker screening check (essential)
- Previous food service industry experience, ideally in the health care sector
- Track record of providing excellent service and customer experience
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrate a good work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- A flexible approach and willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Experience in operating kitchen equipment: dishwasher
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent ‘can do’ attitude
- Good presentation, with a happy outlook
- Ability to calmly work under pressure and to identify and resolve problems.
