About the Role
This is the first dedicated field marketing hire in Europe, responsible for building the EMEA program from scratch. The role involves strategic decision-making on markets, formats, and engagement with European enterprise buyers, alongside end-to-end execution and sales partnership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the EMEA program strategy, including market prioritization, format mix, account coverage, and quarterly sequencing, in collaboration with EMEA sales.
- Execute all events end-to-end across multiple countries, managing venues, vendors, catering, production, invitations, and on-site logistics.
- Own the working relationship with EMEA sellers, focusing on target accounts, invitation strategy, in-deal events, and generating meetings.
- Manage post-event processes including lead capture, follow-up, and data handling under GDPR, in partnership with Lifecycle Marketing and Marketing Ops.
- Oversee the regional budget, vendor contracts, negotiations, and compliance with local requirements, including GDPR.
- Build the documented EMEA playbook for future hires, capturing market-specific insights and vendor relationships.
- Utilize AI to automate operational tasks such as targeting, outreach, research, translation, and post-event summarization.
Requirements
- 4+ years in field marketing or event marketing at a B2B technology company.
- Demonstrated ownership of a multi-country European program.
- Deep understanding of event execution, including run-of-show and crisis management.
- Genuine knowledge of EMEA market differences in buyer behavior, venue norms, and attendance expectations.
- Proven ability to drive pipeline outcomes and discuss cost per qualified attendee.
- Evidence of strong sales partnership and ability to manage seller expectations.
- Comfort operating semi-autonomously across time zones.
- Practical fluency with GDPR as it applies to event data and marketing consent.
- AI-native working habits, using AI to reduce operational load.
