About the Role

Lead student-centred digital content and communications across employability, placements and careers services. The Content and Digital Engagement Coordinator leads the development, delivery and continuous improvement of student communications, digital engagement strategies and online content across Employability and Graduate Futures, ensuring students receive clear, timely and consistent communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages digital content, communication campaigns and self-service resources.
  • Collaborates with teams to redesign student communications, digital resources and online learning materials.
  • Ensures student-facing digital content and online resources are clear, accessible, consistent and aligned to student needs.
  • Ensures communications across careers, placements and employability services are timely, coordinated and easy for students to navigate.
  • Improves digital engagement resources and self-service materials across CareerHub, InPlace, Blackboard, SharePoint and related systems.
  • Reviews accessibility, usability and communication effectiveness to identify service improvements.
  • Supports stakeholders with advice on digital engagement, content design and student communication approaches.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in communications, digital media, education, marketing, user experience, information management or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, managing and improving digital content, online engagement resources and student-facing communications within a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience working with enterprise digital platforms and content systems such as SharePoint, Blackboard, CareerHub (Symplicity), InPlace or similar systems.
  • Sound understanding of accessibility standards, digital communication principles and user experience practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, content design and digital storytelling skills.
  • Ability to prepare guidance materials, procedures, communication resources and online support materials that translate complex information into accessible content.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple projects and contribute to service transformation and digital engagement initiatives.
  • Must provide evidence of working rights in Australia at time of application.

Education Level

Salary/Compensations

  • $42,821.20 - $46,187.60 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading (pro-rata based on 0.4 FTE)
