About the Role
The ASB Regionalverband Berlin-Nordwest e.V. is expanding its fundraising efforts to ensure the reliable and independent financing of vital projects, youth work, and volunteer initiatives. This role involves actively shaping and developing fundraising activities.
Responsibilities
- Independently develop and manage fundraising projects, contributing own ideas for improvement.
- Research potential funding sources, foundations, and corporate partners, preparing them for outreach.
- Create funding applications and manage the entire process from submission to reporting.
- Maintain the donor and contact database, ensuring structured documentation.
- Coordinate smaller fundraising activities and support networking events.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a university degree, preferably in Fundraising, Communication, Business, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Enthusiasm for fundraising and ideally, initial theoretical or practical experience in grant acquisition, donation solicitation, sponsoring, sales, or project management.
- Independent, self-responsible, and structured work style with the ability to quickly learn new topics, identify potential, and proactively advance projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German, with a confident and professional demeanor when interacting with funders, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple parallel tasks.
- Identification with ASB values and enjoyment in actively shaping social engagement.
