About the Role

Join Opal HealthCare's Property team as a Senior Interior Designer to shape environments for residents and stakeholders. This role involves leading design initiatives, managing FF&E and finishes, and contributing to strategic projects for new and existing developments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external clients to develop and refine design briefs.
• Resolve design challenges and incorporate feedback.
• Review documentation for new and existing sites.
• Detail joinery, FF&E, and presentation boards.
• Present designs to residents and stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and support delivery and fit-out.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Support internal and external design teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, suppliers, and team members.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in interior design.
• Commitment to environmental sustainability.
• Strong research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Confidence in decision-making and influencing across teams.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino or Revit.
• Strong Adobe Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
• Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
• High-level communication skills.
• Workshop facilitation experience.
