About the Role
We are seeking a founding iOS engineer to take full ownership of the Town iOS app, ensuring it is native, fast, and trustworthy on Apple platforms. You will build the user interfaces for interacting with the AI assistant and be responsible for the app's architecture, performance, and polish.
Responsibilities
- Own the Town iOS app end-to-end, including architecture, performance, and native feel.
- Build and ship new mobile experiences for users to interact with the AI assistant.
- Improve reliability, latency, and responsiveness across the application.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features.
Requirements
- Experience building high-quality iOS applications in production.
- Experience building consumer apps at scale or taking an app from 0 to 1.
- Experience owning a complex, business-critical iOS app end-to-end.
- Experience making architectural tradeoffs.
- Ability to move fast, make decisions, and overcome obstacles.
