About the Role
The Business Development Analyst supports the development of renewable energy projects in North America, managing day-to-day tasks like budgeting and scheduling, conducting research, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive results.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day development tasks.
- Attend meetings and manage follow-up action items.
- Perform research to support new project ideas.
- Identify project issues/challenges and opportunities for improvement, suggesting tangible actions.
- Spend time on-the-ground at project sites learning and supporting stakeholder engagement.
- Cross-functional coordination, project management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in a strategic or leadership support role (e.g., consulting, operations, or executive support).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience working in the electricity industry.
- Familiarity with business strategy, financial analysis, and organizational development.
- Background in consulting, operations, or corporate strategy is a plus.
