About the Role
AECOM is seeking an experienced and motivated CAD / Drafting Lead to support the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects across New South Wales. This role will play a critical leadership function within the Highways design team, overseeing drafting quality, standards, digital delivery workflows, and leading and mentoring a team of drafters.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing drafting quality, standards, and digital delivery workflows.
- Leading and mentoring a team of drafters.
- Ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with AECOM and client requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D / AutoCAD
- Experience working in drafting teams on major infrastructure projects, desirably on major road infrastructure projects in NSW.
- Strong understanding of Transport for NSW standards and Australian design practices
- Ability to lead drafting teams both local and offshore
