About the Role

Busy Bees is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join their team at Lane Cove. This role involves leading the daily learning program within a preschool room for 3-5 year olds, supporting educators, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment where children thrive.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences

Requirements

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
• Current Working with Children Check for NSW
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style
• Satisfactory, rigorous pre-employment checks (including WWCC, ID, Qualifications, Gecko Training, Work Rights, NQAITS register/Prohibited Persons & References)
• Child safety training

Salary/Compensations

• $36.14 – $41.11 per hour
