About the Role
This Senior Business Analyst role supports critical transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the General Insurance technology function. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality solutions by leading end-to-end analysis, connecting business needs with technology delivery, and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose. Your insights will directly influence system, process, and customer experience evolution.
Responsibilities
- Lead business and functional requirements definition across complex technology initiatives
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate and refine requirements
- Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and functional designs
- Partner closely with product owners, developers, and testers to deliver robust solutions
- Support testing, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of system changes
- Drive process improvement and contribute to continuous delivery within agile squads
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within complex IT environments
- Strong insurance domain knowledge across areas such as underwriting, claims, or policy systems
- Experience delivering system enhancements including integrations, workflows, and UI changes
- Deep understanding of agile delivery practices including user stories, backlog refinement, and sprint ceremonies
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical and business teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
