About the Role
Develops and creates content used across teams and company within company narrative and brand. Communication is responsible for developing print, video, PC, and web-based communication strategies and media. Works with clients and vendor management to identify specific needs and strategies, as well as internal and external creative services staff.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of communications plans across a range of external communications initiatives, including media relations, content development, executive communications, and strategic campaigns.
- Assist with media relations activities, including drafting press materials, monitoring coverage, and maintaining media lists.
- Collaborate with team members across communications, marketing, and the business to support campaigns and projects.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of communications initiatives using available metrics and insights.
- Research industry trends, media activity, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and inform communications efforts.
- Build knowledge of communications best practices while seeking feedback and guidance to support professional development.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective organization, and a collaborative approach to achieving team goals.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to support content development, media research, reporting, and day-to-day communications activities.
- Help build, test, and refine AI agents and automated workflows that improve communications processes, efficiency, and insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience supporting communications initiatives, including content development, media relations, or internal communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and communications tools; experience with media monitoring or analytics platforms is a plus.
- Continuous learner who stays current on industry trends and emerging communications practices.
- Internship or agency experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting corporate communications, public relations, or executive communications is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or additional training in communications, marketing, or digital media are a plus.
