About the Role

The Senior Manager, Global Facilities Procurement is responsible for developing and implementing the global facilities strategy to support Haleon’s facilities goals and growth ambitions. This role leads global category sourcing for facilities spend and collaborates with manufacturing excellence, site, and supply chain teams to deliver effective, sustainable, and commercially strong solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage approximately £200m of facilities spend across QSC sites and commercial operations.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of the global facilities strategy, ensuring it is effectively cascaded to Operating Units and tailored to regional and local market requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy global and regional strategies, supported by robust implementation and transition plans.
  • Develop a strong understanding of facilities solutions, market drivers, and Haleon’s business needs.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive roadmap of activities for Operating Units and categories within scope, partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Build education and communication processes for Operating Unit procurement leads.
  • Ensure global strategies reflect Haleon’s sustainability and diversity objectives.
  • Lead the global scope of facilities categories and drive consistent execution across facilities spend.
  • Deliver benefits identified in roadmaps and strategies through effective, collaborative execution with Business Units, aligned to assurance of supply, risk management, quality, service, cost, and innovation.
  • Ensure financial and non-financial benefits are managed in line with the Procurement Plan.
  • Secure agreement from Business Unit, Finance, and Sustainability teams on value delivered and maintain transparency on how benefits are treated in the budgeting process.
  • Influence global and regional stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development, endorse recommended approaches, support execution, and agree how benefit delivery will be budgeted.
  • Work closely with Operating Unit teams to ensure category strategies reflect regional and local market needs.
  • Develop business cases and secure Operating Unit endorsement for innovative facilities solutions.
  • Support strategic relationships with global suppliers and lead processes that enable new technological solutions through these partnerships.
  • Build a strong network of external partners to bring new capabilities into Haleon.
  • Ensure global, regional, and local considerations are reflected in supplier relationships.
  • Manage the supply base for categories within scope through a robust performance management process.
  • Lead high-value, long-term negotiations in areas of spend that can significantly impact business performance.

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing sophisticated commercial procurement strategies aligned to business needs.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, make timely decisions, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including Finance leaders.
  • Strong understanding of supplier markets, commercial analysis, and business case development.
  • Experience delivering quality, compliant, and well-specified agreements that generate clear return on investment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business requirements while maintaining focus on supply continuity, cost, quality, and service.

  • University degree in procurement, business, finance, supply chain, engineering or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in procurement, business, finance or supply chain is preferred.
