About the Role
This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our dealer base, ensuring submitted contract packages are complete and accurate according to Indirect Department and Bank policy/guidelines for funding. The role requires someone who is highly dependable, detail-oriented, has strong retention abilities, and works well in both individual and team environments within a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Cooperates and builds a strong working relationship with peers to provide quality service, solve problems and achieve bank and departmental goals.
- Ensures submitted contracts and loan packages are complete, accurate and reflect proper approval authorities in adherence to Indirect Department and Bank policy/guidelines.
- Closely inspects loan documents for suspicious or fraudulent documentation.
- Ensures the accuracy of contract figures, disclosures, signatures and documentation for contract funding.
- Identifies errors in calculations and/or missing documentation; work with dealership for correction and help maintain department exceptions.
- Refers major loan violations to Supervisor/Manager for review.
- Provides quality service to customers, whether internal or external.
- Maintains logs and spreadsheets used within the department.
- Maintains proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
- Performs data entry functions such as entering information into the Indirect loan origination system from applications sent by dealerships and providing payoff or account information as needed to provide Indirect Lending services to our dealer base and customers.
- Provides assistance wherever necessary to help the Retail Banking Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.
Requirements
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Skills
- Proficient reading writing, grammar and mathematics skills.
- Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints.
- Moderate computer and typing skills to include Microsoft Word/Excel.

Experience Level
- Two (2) to four (4) years of banking experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of the required documentation for all loan types is ideal
Education Level
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree or equivalent in work experience preferred
Salary/Compensations
- USD $18.25/Hr.
- USD $24.71/Hr.
