About the Role

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be the glue between technology, operations, and the business, owning the technical product lifecycle for key application assets, onboarding new technical solutions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day service and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, stakeholder-facing role requiring broad technical fluency, exceptional communication in English and Mandarin, and the ability to operate at both delivery and strategic levels across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle for assigned IT application assets and technical solutions: roadmap, prioritization, release planning, and lifecycle retirement.
  • Act as the primary technical product lead for incoming solutions — evaluate vendor/procurement proposals, drive technical onboarding, lead integration and cutover plans, and coordinate testing and go-live activities.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering and QA; manage backlog, sprints, and releases with development teams.
  • Manage a broad spectrum of stakeholders across technology, operation, business, LCPA, and senior leadership; provide regular status, risks, and decision options.
  • Serve as single point of contact for application enquiries and incidents from business and operations; coordinate root cause analysis, remediation, and post-incident improvements.
  • Define and track product KPIs (availability, performance, adoption, cost) and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet SLAs and business outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements during design, onboarding, and operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation (architecture overviews, runbooks, onboarding guides) and ensure knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
  • Support vendor management: SLA/KPI negotiations, performance monitoring, and escalation when required.
  • Provide input into technology strategy and represent the product area in architecture and governance forums.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading medium to large scale projects within a highly matrixed organization in a multi-country environment.
  • Broad technical knowledge across application architecture, databases, security, APIs, cloud services.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience onboarding third party solutions and integrations (SaaS/on prem).
  • Business fluency in both English and Mandarin, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Adaptable and resilient, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
