About the Role
The NSW Personal Injury Commission (Commission) is seeking a Dispute Support Officer to join the Registry & Disputes Directorate. This role involves managing a portfolio of disputes, providing quality support, and ensuring efficient dispute resolution.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and managing a portfolio of disputes using a digital case management system.
- Provide a range of quality support and customer service to ensure dispute resolution applications are actioned accordingly.
- Communicating with injured people, lawyers, insurers, and decision makers about matters in the portfolio.
- Proactively managing caseload to ensure cases are kept on track and on time.
- Applying legislation, rules, and guidelines in all cases.
- Participating in continuous improvement and learning programs.
Requirements
- Experienced in digital case management or customer management systems.
- A background in case management specializing with complaints, disputes or insurance.
- Ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems.
- Meticulous and process driven.
- Resume (max 5 pages) and cover letter (max 2 pages) must be attached.
- Candidates invited to interview will be required to complete additional assessments.
