About the Role
This Developer role is within SafeWork NSW’s Data and Digital Systems Directorate, focusing on modernizing regulatory services and supporting WHS-compliant workplaces across NSW. You will collaborate with a skilled team to transform business needs into secure and reliable applications, streamlining processes and improving digital services.
Responsibilities
- Develop smart technology solutions that improve business outcomes and support safer, WHS-compliant workplaces across NSW.
- Turn business needs into practical, secure, and reliable applications.
- Streamline processes, improve user experience, and deliver smarter digital services.
Requirements
- Experience working across the software development lifecycle, including design, build, test, release and support.
- Ability to write, test, and maintain code using relevant programming languages or frameworks.
- Understanding of, and ability to comply with, development standards, NSW Government design rules, accessibility standards, security practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience designing, building, or supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, APIs/integration, JavaScript, C#, .NET, SQL, Azure, or similar technologies.
- Experience working in agile or project-based environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including analysts, testers, and business users.
- Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not essential.
